About

What DriveWise AI is.

DriveWise AI is an Australian web app for rideshare drivers in Sydney and Melbourne. It reads the things that actually move riders (flights landing, events finishing, rain starting, roads closing) and shows where demand is building. An AI advisor answers questions about your night from the same data. It then works out what each shift really kept after fuel or charging, wear, GST and tax, and keeps the records the ATO asks for at tax time.

Who runs it

DriveWise AI is built and operated by Hart & Heim Pty Limited (ABN 23 123 508 663), an Australian company. It is an independent product: it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Uber, DiDi, Bolt or any other rideshare platform, and it does not connect to your platform account.

Where the numbers come from

The signals come from live measurements and published data. Demand scores combine them with the usual pattern for each zone and hour, and outer suburbs borrow a similar zone's pattern until they have their own. Where a figure is an estimate, the app says so.

WhatFromHow often
Aircraft on approachLive aircraft positionsEvery minute
Flight arrivalsAirport timetables for SYD and MELSeveral times a day
Events and finish timesTicketed event listings, with venue capacityTwice a day
Weather and rainCurrent conditions and the forecast aheadEvery 30 minutes
Road speeds and incidentsMeasured on the corridors drivers useAbout every hour
Fuel pricesThe NSW and Victorian governments' published pricesWithin the hour
Public chargersA commercial mapping feed: where they are, how fast, and how many bays are freeBay counts every 10 minutes
Tax ratesThe ATO's published rates, with the income year shownEach income year

Where something is an estimate rather than a measurement, it says so on the page. When a feed has no reading, DriveWise AI shows nothing rather than a guess.

How the AI advisor works

The advisor answers from DriveWise AI's own data for your city (the same flights, events, weather, roads, fuel prices and public chargers on the board) plus your shift so far and the car costs you entered. It doesn't search the web, and it can't see inside Uber or DiDi. Ask an electric car's driver question and it answers with chargers rather than pumps, though never with a price per kWh: charger tariffs aren't in any feed we read, so charging costs come from the rate you set yourself.

It can look things up while it answers: whether a trip is worth taking, the cheapest fuel near you, and the best hours this week. Every suggestion is in dollars an hour after your costs. After a long stretch at the wheel, it tells you to rest before it tells you where to go.

It remembers only what you ask it to, like "no airport runs" or "home by 2am", up to ten notes. You can see and delete every one in your profile. The answers are written by an AI model and no person checks them, so treat anything about money, tax or safety as a starting point. Daily fair-use limits apply.

What it doesn't do

It does not promise a dollar figure you will earn, and it cannot see inside Uber or DiDi: no app shares its live demand data with anyone. What it does is read the public signals that precede demand, and be honest about the difference between a measurement, a forecast and a pattern.

It cannot read the promotions your apps run, either. That is why you type a bonus in yourself, and why the app can then tell you something the platform never will: whether the extra hours it takes are worth more than the hours are.

The tax features produce estimates and records for your own use. They are not tax advice, and a registered tax agent should check anything you lodge.

Where to start

The free calculators need no account: what driving really pays after costs, cents per kilometre versus a logbook, and rent versus buy. For a city view, see Sydney or Melbourne, or read the driver notebook.
